CSTS Fresno - Let's Gooooo!

California Browncoats are proud to present our first Can’t Stop The Serenity of our season, this time in Fresno, California!
We’re teaming up with the Historic Crest Theater and Captain Star of the Firefly Tribute Truck to put the FUN in Fundraising! Tickets are only $5 cash at the door or $7.18 online, if you prefer to buy them ahead of time. (Please note, the theater is cash only for tickets and snacks - but we can take cards for the fundraising portions of the evening.)
This event will benefit, in part, the Historic Crest - a nostalgic, Art Deco beauty of a theater in downtown Fresno. She is lovely, and well worth the support the Historic Crest Foundation provides her. Our second beneficiary will be the Wooten Center, in memory of our beloved Shepherd, Ron Glass.
The Event
Doors open at 6:30 - come early to take pictures with the one of a kind Firefly Tribute Truck and meet Captain Star! Inside, take a turn at our Firefly Carnival Shooting Game and try to win a prize! We will also have a costume contest and lots of shiny door prizes. The main fundraising event will be a suggested donation prize drawing - anyone wanna win a t shirt signed by Alan Tudyk, or a set of our challenge coins, or other limited edition merch? - and a live auction featuring a limited edition, Better Days comic book signed by Nathan Fillion, Alan Tudyk and PJ Haarsma!! And of course, we will end the night with a screening of the Big Damn Movie and a lot of Browncoat love. See you there, Browncoats of the Central Valley!

Coming up fast is the Browncoat Ball!
Join Browncoats from all over the country in beautiful Zion, Utah for the Social Event of the Season. If you haven't been to the Browncoat Ball before, how can we describe it? An emersive weekend with a chosen family who all want to live in the 'Verse. It's not just dancing and food and drinks and fun, although it is all of that; it's also exploring and sharing the local culture, and visiting with dear friends, old and new. Haven’t got your tickets yet? The Utah Browncoat Society are holding a raffle for a PAIR OF FULL BURN TICKETS! You can also buy tix for just the Ball itself without any of the addons, if time or budget is tight. And don’t forget to buy the t shirt!
Before we sign off, we want to share one more bit of information: thanks to Browncoats like you, we have already beat our fundraising goal for the year, and have beat last year by almost $5,000. That's money raised for shiny causes, like the Wooten Center, and we couldn't do it without you. Your love keeps us in the air.
